1) Where can i have my skip dropped?
Skips can be dropped on your drive, business property or on a building site. If you need a skip to go onto the public highway, grass verge, or any other part of the council property, you will need to get a permit from the council.
2) How do i get a skip license from the council?
We can get a skip license from the council these take 5 working days to obtain, and are at a small cost. A license will only allow the skip to be on the property for 7 days.
3) What if i cannot get a skip license?
If the council are not able to allow the skip on the highway, we can offer a wait and load service, where our driver will wait on site while you load the skip.
4) Is there anything i cannot put in a skip?
Due to environment legalization we cannot allow fridge freezers, asbestos or tyres to go in to the skips, if you do have a fridge freezer you need to dispose of please contact our office on 01442253495 and we can arrange a collection.
5) Is there any skip loading requirements?
Skips must be at a level load, to ensure the load is safe for our driver to transit back to the depot. No fires in skips.
6) How long can i keep a skip for?
The hire of a skip is a 14 day period, we ask for you to call us when the skip is ready for collection.
7) How can i pay for the skip?
Payments are to be made on delivery, and can be paid by cash, cheque or cards (all major cards accepted, except American Express)
8) How much notice do i need to give?
24 hours notice is required for deliveries and exchanges, but if you call us for 10am we can offer a same day service in local areas. We can guarantee am and pm services next day, and will try our best to help with peoples requirements.
9) What happens once my waste is taken away?
Once your skip has been collected, they are taken back to our fully licensed transfer station where we recycle 80% of all our waste, to ensure a minimal amount of it goes to landfill.
